now were going up to lake george soon and i remember you loved going there..you loved the Marks' boat!
when i was like 8 i brought my powerpuff scooter and you wanted to try it out but i said no..but being the guy you are ..you took it any way and then broke it in HALF without me knowing..tehn you leaned it up against the side of the house and didnt tell me...i was so pissed but i looked passed it becasue you gave me 10$.and told me not to tell mom that you did it...even though she found out anyway....aha! GOOD TIMES!

My sister and I always remember the funny jokes told while waiting for the food to be ready for the holiday. We never forget when you were on the boardwalk and you told the guy with the purple pants "i think my sister has those in her closet" or running around siesta with Eric and the stupid peeman thingy he won on the boardwalk. We still have that, and it always brings back the good times, even though it is broken from smashing it on the floor. The whole family misses you so much, and you will never be forgotten. We love you ryan, and miss you terribly.
Ryan, i can think of a billion and more of the memories that we shared! one good one was when we were at Felix Festa and you asked me to get you a gatorade...i did as you asked,of course, and i got myself and you a gatorade. i made it just back in time for my race so i asked you to hold onto my gatorade until after i swam...after i swam i came back to you to get my drink and found it EMPTY! i asked you what happened and you said in your sarcastic voice and that lovable smirk" I HAVE NO CLUE..." you were laughing so hard after you said it. i was so mad at you for the rest of the meet because dad wouldnt give me anymore money... he didnt believe me that you drank my gatorade! but after the meet you actually bought me a new gatorade...it didnt help since i swam already but it was the thought that counted! i miss you so much! i dont go a day without thinking about you!
Dont worry i will make sure i brag about you to everyone who asks about you! i love you so much!

I was looking at this page and I cant think of that one distinct memory because everyone of those with you was so special. Times where laughter was never a problem and memories were always made. I sit here and stare at the pictures of us, you and your friends, with melissa. With your family. They say "Photos take an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still." I am so lucky to have had you as not only my friend but my best friend. The times that we shared together are priceless. I would give anything to be able to make more, but I think Im coming to the point where I know that wont happen. And its hard. But I know you would want me to sit here and laugh about the good times, and thats what Im trying to do. Probably the only thing getting me through this. I want you to know and I know your listening; I will make sure the legacy of Ryan Olsen, Mr.Vernon, will never once be forgotten. Please keep an eye on your friends, melissa, and your family.
